Click off the folder that you want to refresh and click back on it. You’ll see an updated list of files. I believe it will then automatically refresh as new files are added (I’ve noticed this behavior running Photoshop actions that batch process images and save to a new folder). Clunky, I know, but it works for me.
A second option would be to run a Spotlight search on the folder for all files “Created” “Since yesterday” or whatever criteria would meet your needs. That has a refresh in the lower right side of the Finder’s Search window.
